Established in 2006 and named out of respect for the Kyoto protocol, today Kyotex® comprises K System, K Thermo, K Next and K Pads. The four Ks that together have all the solutions needed to stand out in an increasingly demanding, dynamic and intellegent market.
K SYSTEM: Process innovation
K System, a Kyotex business unit, provides innovative systems in the PSA (Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive) sector, anticipating the current ecological sensitivity of manufacturers and their markets. Adhesive tape-based bonding allows new production concepts based on efficiency, environmental sustainability and respect for workers’ health to be introduced in the footwear and leather goods sector.
K THERMO: The power of heat
K Thermo, a Kyotex business unit, offers a range of environmentally friendly and technologically advanced thermoadhesive products designed to meet any requirement.
Available in granule, powder, film, web and net forms, they take advantage of the power of heat and pressure to bond surfaces perfectly.
K NEXT: The adhesive of the future
K Next, a Kyotex business unit, was created for all those products that need the strength
of a thermoadhesive but can’t be heated.
K PADS: Positive reinforcement
K Pads, a Kyotex business unit, develops a series of reinforcement supports for the leather goods and footwear market, such as toe puffs, leather fiber stiffeners, microfibers, and more. Natural and recycled materials, treated with Kyotex’s thermo or cold adhesives, guarantee the absence of solvents and volatile substances (VOCs).
